Building of the Year in the Hradec Králové Region

The trade and cultural centre PETROF Gallery can now take pride in receiving the title “Building of 2018 in the Hradec Králové Region”. 

The ceremonial result announcement of the 15^th “Building of the Year” competition took place on 27^th November 2018 in the Research Library of Hradec Králové. This year, there were 13 buildings competing for the title with PETROF Gallery becoming the winner.

The aim of the building of the trade and cultural centre PETROF Gallery was to support the region’s cultural and social development, participate in music education and spread the good reputation of the PETROF company. Achieving this goal and satisfying the needs of all customers and visitors are the principal purposes of PETROF Gallery, which is subsequently the largest showroom with pianos in Central Europe, a musical café and also a multipurpose hall.

The general supplier of the construction of PETROF Gallery was the company STATING s. r. o. under the leadership of Ing. Pavel Hurych. The authors of the project are Ing. Janis Vlachopulos and Ing. Arch. Vladimír Lavrík from the company ADONIS PROJEKT, spol. s r. o.

“Remarkable and original by their architectonical interpretation and technical solution, excellently incorporated into their surroundings. Such are the contestant buildings participating in the competition. I am very pleased that there are so many of them emerging in our region every year, and I believe that this competition makes a significant contribution towards it,” says the regional council president Jiří Štěpán, who was handing over the awards.
